HEALTH & SAFETY

ELEM Contracts recognises and endorses all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment and we always stress the importance to all employees of the Health and Safety of themselves, the public, and that of all others.

It is our policy to perform our work in the safest practicable manner and consistent with our high standards of good practice. The Health and Safety of our employees and all of those who may be affected by our operations,
is the responsibility of the management and as a priority, it ranks higher than any other business issue. Within our annual budget we include necessary costs for the training and education of Health and Safety.

We strive to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, associated legislation and relevant industry standards.

As well as providing a safe and healthy working environment, we strive to prevent injury and ill health for all employees, clients, contractors, supply chain partners and visitors on site by identifying, then eliminating significant hazards and controlling their harmful effects.

All our staff and subcontractors participate in the implementation of our H&S policy and our management staff monitor progress in the continual improvement of our health and safety arrangements.
